In short: backup-shipper is a private tool with one user, its owner. It stores encrypted backups in the owner's own Google Drive, can only touch the files it created there, and shares nothing with anyone.
Who runs it
backup-shipper is run by the owner of burakmetehan.com.tr for their own server. It is not offered to the public and has no other users.
Google user data it accesses
It uses one Google permission, the drive.file scope. With it, backup-shipper can see
and manage only the Google Drive files it has created itself. It cannot see, open or change any other
file in the Drive, and it requests no other Google data, such as email, contacts or profile.
How it uses that data
- Uploads encrypted backup files of the owner's server.
- Lists and downloads those files to check them and to restore them.
- Deletes its own copies once they are older than the retention period the owner set.
Google data is used only for these purposes. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or training any model.
Sharing
No Google user data is sold, transferred or shared with anyone.
Storage and protection
- Backups are encrypted with age on the server before upload. The private decryption key is kept offline by the owner; the server and Google hold only encrypted data.
- The Google access token is stored only on the owner's server, in a file readable by its administrator alone.
Retention and deletion
Copies are kept for a set number of days and then deleted automatically. Access can be withdrawn at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections; the files can be deleted from Google Drive like any other file.
